Evander Holyfield Having Money Problems?
AP reports: "Evander Holyfield appears to be having major money problems. His $10 million estate is in foreclosure, he's being sued for unpaid child support and a Utah company says the boxer owes them half a million dollars for landscaping. (June 5)[Notes:ANCHOR VOICE] Boxer Evander Holyfield may be facing his toughest fight yet but it won't be in the ring.The former heavyweight champion's home is in foreclosure, and he may not have enough money to save it. ((JOYCE BOLDS, NEIGHOR: "I'm just surprised. I can't imagine having that kind of money and not using it wisely, if that's the case.")) This public notice appeared in an Atlanta area newspaper.If Holyfield doesn't come up with the cash by July 1st...his digs...which include 109 rooms, 17 bathrooms and a bowling alley...will go to the highest bidder.There's some speculation that the sell may not even reap the 10 million dollars he put into building this place more than 10 years ago.
