Maryland Congressman Elijah Cummings asks Keith Creagh of the Department of Environmental Quality for the State of Michigan about the actions of Michigan Governor Rick Snyder has a lead poisoning crisis in the city of Flint, Michigan unfolded, asking why Snyder would blame the City Council which had no authority under teh appointed emergency city manager. Cummings screams that he wants the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, he is met with applause. Cummings presses the official on whether Flint residents are forced to pay bills for water that they cannot use, screaming that America is not a third world country, concluding that he wants everybody responsible for the fiasco at any agency on any level of government to be held accountable, saying he is that protecting anybody and we only the last line of defense.
