A Las Vegas police officer involved in a fatal weekend chase used a stun gun seven times and held a man in a neck hold for more than one minute before the man lost consciousness and was later pronounced dead. The officer, Kenneth Lopera, 31, believed the man, Tashi Farmer, 40, was trying to carjack a vehicle, Undersheriff Kevin McMahill of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said at a news conference.
