They drove into the driveway of 65-year-old homeowner Kevin Monahan and were trying to turn their car around when Monahan pulled out a gun. "New York state health officials have found indications of additional cases of polio virus in wastewater samples from two different counties, leading them to warn that hundreds of people may be infected with the potentially serious virus.


Just two weeks ago, the New York Health Department reported the nation's first case of polio in almost a decade, in Rockland County, north of New York City. Officials said that case occurred in a previously healthy young adult who was unvaccinated and developed paralysis in their legs. Since then, three positive wastewater samples from Rockland County and four from neighboring Orange County were discovered and genetically linked to the first case, the health department said in a press release on Thursday, suggesting that the polio virus is being spread within local communities. The newest samples were taken from two locations in Ora" - CBS

Manhattan: FDR Drive @ Manhattan Bridge Exit, a 20-year-old riding in a cab, stabbed the driver in an attempt to steal the car, which then collided with a Nissan Sedan at around 2:30 pm. The suspect then started running southbound on the FDR, where he then tried robbing a white sedan. As police showed up, the suspect started running on the FDR and jumped off the FDR, and landed at South Street & Rutgers Slip. The suspect was arrested by officers from the NYPD 7th Precinct, and he was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. The stab victim was also taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
