The "alien creature" conspiracy theorists on Twitter are running wild after a video appears to show an out-of-this-world figure walking near cop cars during an emergency response ... and we now have some answers as to what really went down. Here's the deal ... a growing conspiracy theory online suggests the massive police response on New Year's Day in Miami isn't what it seems. Folks are pointing to one specific piece of footage they say shows a strange figure moving near police cars. The person who posted the video says he zoomed in on some TikTok videos and claims he found a "gray creature." However, spokesperson for Miami PD tells TMZ … "What is seen on this clip is the shadow of someone walking. If you look at the bottom of the shadow, you can see the person. No creature." So that's that ... and as for how the whole thing started, folks thought the sheer number of police cars at the scene seemed to be way more than necessary. Cops were called to the shopping mall over a group of teens fighting, launching fireworks and causing chaos at the mall ... but there's reports some thought the fireworks was gunfire, which likely triggered the massive police response. Authorities today were looking for suspects who stole a dozen French bulldog puppies from a Gardena pet shop that the owner said were worth more than $100,000. 

The crime occurred about 1 a.m. Tuesday at the Top Dog Pet Store in the 2500 block of Rosecrans Avenue, the store's owner told KTLA5. 

Security video shows four masked men breaking into the business. The burglars were seen arriving at the shop in a large white Chevy van. Details of the crime were not immediately released by Gardena police, who said only that the theft was under investigation. 

"They ran to where the dogs were, grabbed the cages, dragged them out and tossed them into the van," Andres Avalos, the shop's owner, told KTLA. "They came in through the front door, kicked the door open, turned the light on, grabbed the dogs, and took off."

Avalos said the suspects escaped with 12 French bulldogs, including a 10-month-old show dog named "Roll X." 

"It's a big financial loss," Avalos said. "The dogs were (worth) over $100,000. We use those dogs for breeding purposes and that's how we make a living. With the dogs being gone, it'll be tougher to get by now." 

As the dogs were moved outside, some of the suspects were seen quickly grabbing the small puppies and throwing them into the back of the van. The entire heist lasted only minutes, Avalos said. One suspect also broke into the shop's cash register and escaped with around $2,000 in cash.

KTLA reported that Avalos is offering a substantial monetary reward for anyone who can help track down the missing dogs and the thieves who took them. Posted by JR

Little Ken'Adi Nash from Ohio was taking out the trash at her Hamilton home when a man grabbed her and tried to take her away. The girl screamed as loud as she could when he grabbed her, prompting the man to let her go. A doorbell camera at the Nash family home captured the 10-second-long attempted kidnapping on camera.

Speaking with @ABCNews, Ken'Adi recalled, â€œThis guy walks by and he touched me. He pulled me," she told ABC News. â€œHe wouldn't have let go of her if she wouldn't have pulled and screamed like she did," Ricky Nash, Ken'Adi's dad, added.
