Las Vegas authorities have released body camera video showing the moments after a road-rage encounter on the 215 Beltway turned fatal for 11-year-old Brandon Dominguez.
According to police documents and on-scene statements, Brandon was riding to school with his stepfather when 22-year-old Tyler Matthew Johns allegedly opened fire after a heated roadside confrontation. Brandon was struck in the back seat.
Bodycam audio captures his stepfather crying out, “My kid is dead,” while officers tried to stabilize the scene. Moments later, Johns confessed, telling police: “I shot at him… I didn’t know there was a kid in the car.”
Clark County prosecutors have charged Johns with open murder and say the shooting was premeditated. A judge denied bail. Brandon’s family is now grieving an unimaginable loss.
