Houston police say they've identified the person whose skeletal human remains were discovered in a Houston-area backyard barbecue pit. A Houston worker allegedly found a full human skeleton in a space behind his client's house on Peach Creek Drive. Houston police confirmed over the weekend that the remains belonged to Miranda Rodriguez, a 24-year-old woman who was first reported missing in August 2017, just before Hurricane Harvey flooded large swaths of Houston.
