A stray pit bull was stabbed five times saving a woman’s life from a knife-wielding attacker in Georgia. The pit bull lunged toward the male after sensing the woman in danger. Authorities don’t believe the dog had any relationship with the attacker or victim. The stray, now named “Hero” by the responding police officers, was able to fend off the perpetrator so the woman could escape, but was stabbed multiple times in the process.
