"An elementary school student in Washington, D.C.
is facing drug charges after police say he brought
cocaine to school and shared it with his friends.

The incident happened at Thompson Elementary
School.

Several students swallowed the cocaine during the
school day, and five had to be rushed to the
hospital.

Authorities said six to eight children had some
ill effects from the cocaine, including sore
throats.

The kids are now all said to be in good
