6ix9ine's Trial Is Underway And The Rapper Testifies Trippie Redd Is Part Of Five Nine Brims Gang!
The rapper was escorted into the courthouse just over an hour ago wearing prison blues when he was asked to answer some simple questions about his upbringing and his involvement in the case. One of the first things that the artist, real name Daniel Hernandez, says is that he began cooperating with federal authorities the day after the Nine Trey Bloods were taken down.
He goes on to identify a few of the men in the room, including Anthony Ellison and Aljermiah Mack, before claiming he was a member of the gang.
6ix9ine has started his testimony against his one-time gang associates Anthony "Harv" Ellison and Aljermiah "Nuke" Mack, and during it, he reportedly mentioned Trippie Redd, a former collaborator-turned-rival.
According to reporter Matthew Russell Lee, who is live-tweeting from the courtroom at Manhattan's Thurgood Marshall United States Courthouse, 6ix9ine alleged that Trippie was once a member of a gang.
"Trippie Redd was part of Five Nine Brims, Hernandez testifies," writes Lee, who refers to Tekashi by his government name of Daniel Hernandez.
That bit of Lee's report arrived in the midst of Tekashi's testimony, which has thus far recounted the birth of his connection to the Brooklyn-based gang, Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods and more.
