Twenty-five-year-old Tayjon “Tay Tay” Johnson was reportedly shot twice in the head outside 1740 Lafayette Avenue in Soundview on June 27, with two female officers nearby. Surveillance video shows a daytime confrontation on the sidewalk before someone falls and police move in to secure the area. Johnson was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition.
