Da Brat Is Set To Play Cleo In The Stage Play Of The Classic Film "Set It Off!"

DESCRIPTION

Over twenty years after its release, Set It Off will be adapted as a stage play. R&B stars LeToya Luckett and Demetria have been cast in the live rendition of the film, along with rapper Da Brat and actress Kyla Pratt.

Performances will take place Friday and Saturday, March 9th and 10th at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta and again at the Warner Theatre in Washington DC on March 16th and 17th.Da Brat expressed her gratitude and excitement for landing this role in one of her favorite movies. Many don’t know but Da Brat auditioned for a role in the original film but did not make it, so it was only right for her to try again.
