SMH: Florida Woman Tells Deputy The "KKK Would Be Seeing Him & Burning Crosses On His Property"

A woman faces multiple charges after she threatened a deputy with a "visit from the KKK" during an arrest, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office. Upon arrival, a deputy made contact with the driver of a vehicle that had its headlights on reversing into the property. The deputy immediately detected the odor of alcohol coming from the driver, 53-year-old Julie Edwards. As the deputy attempted to file paperwork, Edwards told him that the "Ku Klux Klan would be seeing him and burning crosses on his property."
